At Coca-Cola Consolidated, we’re passionate about education and serving others. We believe education empowers individuals and communities, and we’re committed to supporting those who make it possible. This summer we made our way to Nashville, Tenn., to celebrate the wonderful teachers and families getting ready to head back to school.
We teamed up with PENCIL, a local nonprofit, BODYARMOR and Nashville Soccer Club to provide Nashville teachers with supplies, recognition and the appreciation they deserve. Through this partnership, we supported four large events: Together-4-Teachers Nashville Pack-A-Thon, Teacher Appreciation Night at Geodis Park, Backpack Giveaway and Together-4-Teachers Pep Rally.

Coca-Cola Consolidated and PENCIL Teammates fill bags with school essentials
The Together-4-Teachers Pack-A-thon brought together Coca-Cola Consolidated and PENCIL volunteers to help stuff teacher supply bags with items needed for the upcoming school year.

Coca-Cola Consolidated also helped sponsor Nashville SC’s “Teacher Appreciation Night” at GEODIS Park, where teachers enjoyed a fun night of soccer and entertainment and received special recognition, gifts and Coca-Cola Consolidated swag.
Coca-Cola Consolidated supported the Backpack Giveaway at Plaza Mariachi.
At the Backpack Giveaway at Plaza Mariachi, our Teammates helped distribute backpacks filled with essential school supplies to more than 6,000 families. We also had our Coca-Cola truck on site to provide refreshing beverages for attendees.
As the final kick-off celebration to show Nashville teachers our appreciation, we joined PENCIL, BODYARMOR and Nashville SC at Geodis Park for a Teacher’s Pep Rally. The large-scale event included music, speakers, refreshments, 360 Coca-Cola photo booth, character sketches and a visit from the Coca Cola truck, which served Fanta and Coke slushies.

We want to show them how much we value and appreciate their work.”
