We recently partnered with Kroger in donating 500 backpacks stuffed to the brim with food and school supplies. This generous donation supports students and families experiencing housing insecurity in Roanoke.

The bags were packed with love by Habitat for Humanity in the Roanoke Valley, Straight Street Roanoke Valley, Feeding Southwest Virginia, and City of Roanoke Department of Economic Development. School Board Chair Dr. Eli Jamison, Superintendent Dr. Verletta White, and many other members of the RCPS team stopped by to thank all partners for their generosity.
